Living Foods for Optimum Health by Brian R. Clement,
Theresa F. DiGeronimo
"Sound scientific basis -
Friendly advice
Unlike some other books I've read on
the topic of raw-foodism, this one manages to present a sound
scientific basis for following the raw-food diet, *without*
sounding preachy and condemning..." A.S. Naylor, Chapel
Hill, NC "This is the best book on healthy eating I've
ever read. The choice is yours. A small fee for the
book or $50,000 for a painful surgery on down the road." B. Wolfe,

Sun Food Diet Success System by David Wolfe

foods diet book... This book is simply wonderful:
profound, educational, sensible, practical, sacred, witty, etc.,
etc., etc. This book will takes us step-by-step through the
process of embracing the best diet on earth next to breatharinism
-- raw foods. The Sunfoods Diet takes the fear out of major
dietary change, and will most likely become the raw foodist
"Bible" of the new millenium -- and well it should. Author, David
Wolfe's name, without a doubt, will become a household name over
the next few years..." A reader from Virginia Beach, VA. |

Conscious Eating by Gabriel Cousens
"A Brilliant
Combination of different Sciences of Health...
This
book is one of the best health books I've ever read, no question
about it. It combines pretty much every diet fad you've ever heard
about into a raw, living food diet... In this book, Cousens
teaches us how to follow the Ayurvedic principles through a 80-90%
raw food diet. He also teaches us how to individualize our diets
for our metabolic body types. This is one of the only books I know
that teaches how to individualize diet for a vegetarian." Callmedoug, Islip, NY |

Raw Family: A True Story of Awakening by Victoria
Boutenko, Igor Boutenko, Sergei Boutenko and Valya
Boutenko "This is an excellent book for
inspiring people to try a raw foods diet. Excellent prose
are not needed to accomplish this; all that's needed is
the heartfelt words of the authors. Here's the benefit
I've derived from this book and the Boutenko family: After
13 years as a vegetarian (usually at least 10 pounds
overweight the whole vegetarian time - rarely overweight
that much before becoming a vegetarian, except for the
year before), the most effective route for me has been the
100% raw foods route. I've lost ten pounds in 15 days on
this diet, and plan to stay with it to shed several more
overweight pounds...." Silver Spring MD reviewer |

12 Steps to Raw Foods by Victoria Boutenko
"Inspiring Raw Book! I found
Victoria's book to be very inspiring and easy to follow. This is a
great book for everybody that knows that raw foods is the right
path but don't quite have the willpower to do it on their own. The
great stories give you hope and information is represented in an
easy to follow manner..." Olesja Lundt, Olympia WA
"This book changed my family! We
own a health store in Utah and knew about raw food for a long
time. But we could never make raw food our lifestyle. After we
read the 12 steps to raw food book our family became all raw
without any difficulties...." Health Nut, Utah |

Raw Kids:
Transitioning Children to a Raw Food Diet by
Cheryl L. Stoycoff, Solomae Sananda "Without knowing a thing about the benefits of a raw food
diet, I bought and read the book anyway because it
stressed a vegetarian diet. I'd been a vegetarian for 6
years, but couldn't lose weight after my son was born 2
years ago. I met Cheryl and her husband, Clyde, who were
very supportive and suggested that I eliminate cooked
starches from my diet. Honestly, I thought the advice was
silly, but after reading the book I understood what they
meant. I was living on potatoes, pasta, rice. When I ate
fruit for breakfast and snacks, a huge salad for lunch,
and another salad for dinner, I easily lost 6 lbs. in 2
weeks. I also have much more energy and clarity of
thought. I feel so much better. I eat all the avacadoes
and olives I want, and even some cooked beans. My family
is now about 80% raw and I'm about 95%. Try it - it's not
as hard as you think, and the results are worth it!"

The Raw Life: Becoming Natural In An Unnatural World by
Paul Nison
"This is my
favorite intro to Raw Foods book!
Paul Nison's book is
clear and concise and very interesting. I think the interviews
with long time preeminent raw foodists set it apart from many of
the other books that I've read. Thanks to these one on one
interviews, and his very simple style of writing Paul manages to
cover a lot of territory quickly and succinctly..." c,

Blatant Raw Foodist Propaganda by Joe Alexander
"Inspiring! Blatant Raw Foodist Propaganda is an inspiration. I
have been looking into this lifestyle, and after reading this book
it only reinforced my desire to go for it and live raw! It is an
easy read and I didn't put it down until I had read the last page!
While I don't agree with everything the author says, the important
thing is getting as much information as we can to live a more pure

practice specializes in the recognition and utilization of
diet, nutritional supplements, acupuncture and

understanding what to eat and when. This book COMPLETELY

Cancer, depression and autoimmune disease (to name only a

chronic exposure to environmental toxins like solvents and
pesticides AND chronic nutritional deficiencies from
eating fast food and junk food. This is the most important
book you can buy to teach you how simple it is to regain

Enzymes! This is one of the few books out there which
teaches you how to take charge of your health in a very
simple approach.... Basically it's all about enzymes which
metabolize your food and which are needed for every
function in your body. Without enzymes there would be no
life in your body. Where do you find these enzymes? They
are available by eating fresh organic fruits, vegetables,

Nature's First Law by Arlin, Dini and Wolfe.
"Great motivational ... for those who want to
go RAW! Yes this book is in-your-face and somewhat
biased, but that is what the authors intended. So if you
can handle radical life changing ideas or just need a
motivational [push] to go more RAW this book is for you.
Otherwise, if you are new to Raw and Living foods or are
easily offended by strong views then first read the "Sunfood
Diet Success System" by David Wolfe which is hands down
the best single rawfoods book out there. IMHO :^)"

God's Way to Ultimate Health: A Common Sense Guide for
Elimination of Sickness Through Nutrition by George H.
Malkmus, Michael Dye "A solid approach to
natural healing. Malkmus and Dye base natural healing
on the premise that a diet rich in raw fruits and
vegetables, and the elimination of processed "dead" foods,
will result in the ultimate health. As an engineer by
trade, I was critical of the basic cause and effect
relationship that such a recommended diet may have.
However, Malkmus and Dye have accumulated scientific test
results and cataloged various studies used as supporting
evidence of their theories. Having read this book and
filtering through the religous overtones, my wife and I
decided to implement this change to our lifestyle. I am in
month number 12 of the dietary change. My weight has
reduced from 177 lbs to 156 lbs. More strength, better
nightly rest, no more prostate problems, no more heart
murmur, clear complexion, more relaxed in daily actions.
At 44 years of age I wished that I had read this book long
ago! My wife has had even better results. I urge every
person who desires to live on with ultimate health to read
this book!" Reviewed by morris@quantum.net.au from

Intuitive Eating/Everybody's Natural Guide to Total Health
and Lifegiving Vitality Through Food by Humbart
'Smokey' Santillo, N.D. "The Only Book On
Nutrition You Ever Need To Read... I have read just
about every nutritional book out there over the years and
found this book to be the best by far. It is a complete
course on nutrition, covering detoxification, herbs, what
to eat, what not to eat, and especially all the "whys."
Until I read this book it all seemed so complicated and
out of reach that I was about to give up. The author
simplifies it for us. There are no gimmicks, no quick
fixes, no imbalanced eating plans. He reminds us that
eating right is what our body wants us to do. You will
know when you read this book that what Dr. Santillo says
is true. My wish is that every medical doctor could read
it. I will always be grateful that I found this book.
Throw away all your other books and buy this one. Use the
money you've been spending on books to buy good quality
food. Do what Smokey says and make everything you eat
count. Eat light, simple, quality foods and you will find
you require less food and have more energy. Thank you, Dr.
Santillo." Reviewed by pperkins@missvalley.com from
