Hospital professionals guide the families through
the application process, confirming the need with
letters of support. Upon receiving the
application, NCCS assigns a case manager to the
family who is responsible for determining how we
might help. The National Children's Cancer Society
pays for children's treatments when they are going
to be denied due to a lack of funding. Medical
procedures we cover include bone marrow
transplants, donor searches and harvests,
pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, and other
cancer treatment procedures that meet with the
approval of our medical advisory board. We assist
with food, lodging, and travel costs so that
parents can be with their hospitalized child. We
