You'll be part of a network of over 15,000 magicians who meet at local meetings, international conventions and communicate through the prestigious "Linking Ring" magazine."
The Society of American Magicians "is the oldest magical society in the world having been founded on May 10, 1902 in Martinka's famous magic shop in New York City, New York.
For nearly a century the SAM has promoted the ideals shared by Kellar, Houdini, Thurston and over 30,000 other magicians world-wide who have held membership in the Society. These ideals include the elevation of the Art of Magic, the promotion of harmony among magicians and the opposition to the unnecessary public exposure of magical effects."

World Alliance of Magicians is a new "umbrella federation" founded to help preserve the wonder and amazement of magic throughout the world.
The Magic Circle "On the 1st July 1905 at Pinoli's famous restaurant in London, some twenty-three amateur and professional magicians assembled with the intention of forming a club. Thus The Magic Circle was born." |
