There was, however, part of the wall which jutted out like a smoothly-connected table which had a slight discoloration to it, and several simple symbols on it, and above it a slightly discolored part of the wall. Later in life when he saw touch- screen computers, he thought that perhaps that was what he was seeing, but of course he would not recognize it at the time..."
